Aston Martin DB11 V12 Info
Aston Martin DB11 is the first model launched under the partnership of Aston Martin and Daimler-Benz. DB11 inherits the classic design of Aston Martin and is equipped with a 5.2T twin-turbo V12 engine that has a maximum horsepower of around 600hp. Aston Martin DB11 has three suspension modes available: GT, S and S+. The most comfortable of which is the GT, which is the best summary of Aston Martin’s vintage elegance. GT, which is short for Grand Tour, is a traditional trip through Europe by children of European nobles after the Renaissance, and was especially popular in England in the 18th century.
The New York Times described the Grand Tour as such: 300 years ago, wealthy young Englishmen began taking a post Oxbridge trek through France and Italy in search of art, culture, and the roots of Western civilization. With nearly unlimited funds, aristocratic connections, and months (or years) to roam, they commissioned paintings, perfected their language skills, and mingled with the upper crust of the Continent. In a certain way, GT is an external expression of Western civilization. For a GT sports car to allow its driver to travel long distances in high spirit, it must have an eye-catching design, powerful engine, sufficient space for comfort, and a high-capacity trunk that can accommodate large luggage.
Aston Martin’s DB2, which debuted at the 1950 New York Auto Show, was the very first GT model to meet the above. Today, Aston Martin is already a master a producing high-quality GT sports cars. The Aston Martin DB11 is packed with the latest technology, while keeping the original concept of a GT model at its core. No matter when, where and how fast, its driver can stay at ease with calmness and grace.
