Yas Marina Reverse Cornering Guide

Yas Marina Reverse Sector 1 – 1114m

1. Drive onto the green segment on the right of the right shoulder Around half way through, brake heavily and clip the apex. Then exit with the car pointing to the left side of the fork road. 2. Enter the green segment on the right and brake. Steer left and navigate through the corner by going from the outside to the inside, then back to the outside again. 3. Drive towards the left of the track. Brake heavily at the road shoulder on the left. Point the front of the car at the turning point and exit at full acceleration. 4. Brake gently before entering the corner. Stay in the middle and exit the turn, then quickly move to the right 5. Drive onto the road shoulder on the right. Release the throttle and steer left. Yas Marina Reverse Sector 2 – 1183m

6. Steer through the bend at full acceleration. 7. Brush the turning point at full acceleration and keep to the left. 8. Depending on the performance of the car, brake heavily after going past the 100m sign. Point the car at the apex and accelerate to exit the corner. 9. Steer right after the 50m sign and clip the turning point. 10. Control the throttle and steering to navigate through the successive corners.

11. Steer slightly to get through the high-speed corner. 12. Brake heavily at around the 100m sign. Steer left at the point where the green segment on the right ends and clip the apex. 13. Release the throttle and steer towards the apex on the right.

Yas Marina Reverse Sector 4 – 1493

14. Clip the apex. Continue to steer right and accelerate. Pay attention to the track layout and take the right side of the fork. 15. Brake before the turning point. Point the car at the road shoulder on the left of the next corner and exit the bend. 16. This is an upslope blind corner. It is hard to the determine the direction of the exit. Slightly release the throttle mid-corner and exit in the middle of the track. 17. Release the throttle at the road shoulder on the right and steer close to the apex. Point the car at the road shoulder of the next corner, accelerate and exit the turn. 18. Stay close to the road shoulder on the left. Continue to steer left and accelerate. Straighten the car when the road shoulder ends. 19. Clip the apex at full acceleration. Navigate through the corner by going from the outside to the inside and then back to the outside. 20. Depending on the performance of the car, brake around the 100m sign and go from the outside to the inside and to the outside again while clipping the apex
